*ESL - NCAHD collects state licensure data from each State's respective licensure boards. The data is then processed to include only unduplicated, in-state, actively licensed providers and then augmented with information from various sources ( e.g., Medical Schools, OPTI sites, Residency Programs).

Individual healthcare provider data is only available through the secure portal. Zip code, county, and state aggregates for providers are still available through the Aggregate Summary Tool located in 4. Select a Tool for Further Analysis.

How to use the SPSDT mapping portal to support GME development?

The XYZ portal contains many different types of data. For example, we generated the physician data from NCAHD's Enhanced State Licensure Data dated 2016.

At the current extent, individual features (e.g. providers, etc.) are not visible. You can use the aggregate summary tool to calculate data related to these layers, but you wil not see the individual features when you turn them on.
